Virgin Money - Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018

Working alongside 442 Design SPLINTR produced a wide variety of festival infrastructure for the Festivals main hub, The Royal Mile. Sponsored by Virgin Money, the project included the design and fabrication of Virgin branded street architecture. Using a mixture of materials including OSB and Rodeca translucent polycarbonate panels we created two sculptural seating platforms on West Parliment Square, multiple stages along The Royal Mile and entranceways at each end of the high street which facilitated artists and tourists from around the world. The project had an extremely tight delivery and installation time with much of the work happening over night to Install and subsequently de-rig the festival.
