ORIGIN COFFEE
Working up the design for fabrication and undertaking the entire fit-out, Splintr worked alongside the team at Origin Coffee Roasters to redevelop this space on South College St, which previously housed Brew Lab, an important part of Edinburgh’s speciality coffee scene, and a previous client of ours. The extensive refit involved the introduction of a training room, a whole new coffee bar area with a patinated brass barfront, eye catching retail displays and comfortable seating areas. The interior is comprised of neutral colours, clean lines and very soft edges, juxtaposing some of the original features of the space which include exposed brick and rough, cracked plaster.
