HERON
In the summer of 2024, we worked with Sam Yorke at his recently awarded Michelin Star restaurant on Edinburgh’s Shore, Heron. The brief was to make better use of part of the dining area near the bar from an aesthetics and covers point of view. We created sweeping oak banquettes upholstered in soft, dark tones, with a curtained backdrop to hide details on the walls and envelop the tables in a comfortable snug. We also created a new reception desk with concrete top, a customer coatrack unit and a wine station.
