CAIRNGORM COFFEE CO.

Nestled in between Melville Street and Randolph Place lies what used to be a bustling bank that has been lying dormant in recent years.  SPLINTR were approached by Cairngorm Coffee Co. to bring this traditional and unassuming west end shopfront to life. With its quirky, curved, counter to ceiling windows flooding the space with light, it naturally leant itself to the Scandinavian aesthetic. The clean, bright colour scheme with soft muted tones feels both warm and welcoming with the addition of a vast polished concrete servery and copper toned lamps hanging elegantly above. Three long  communal copper and ash tables, highlighted on either side by distinctly Scandi stools make the perfect space for a quick pit stop or a long afternoon spent drinking coffee and trying out their many sweet treats. Head towards the back of the cafe and you will find a cosy alcove exuding charm with light grey timber cladding that wraps the walls, an understated nod to Cairngorm's original space on Fredrick Street.
